We’re a small team with a big mission — to rescue, heal, and rehome Iloilo’s abandoned aspins, one tail at a time.
Founded on July 16, 2016 and officially launched on July 24, 2016, Team Aspin of Iloilo — or simply TAIL — was born out of a shared love for asong Pinoy and a deep belief that every dog’s life matters. Our mission is simple yet urgent: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned, abused, neglected, and ignored strays. Each dog we save carries a story of hardship, but also of hope — and we are here to make sure their next chapter is one of care, safety, and love.
TAIL runs entirely on compassion. We have no government funding or big corporate backing. Instead, we rely on the kindness of generous donors and the dedication of volunteers who give their time, resources, and hearts to keep tails wagging across Iloilo. Since our first rescue, we have worked tirelessly to give every aspin a second chance — whether it’s medical treatment, rehabilitation, or simply a safe space to heal. For us, it’s never “just a dog.” Each one is a life worth saving. At TAIL, we believe that change starts with compassion — and together, we can turn every sad story into a happy tail.
